Last updated 1 November 2026. How text messages sent through Cevora work, for the people who receive them and for the dealers who send them.
If you received a text from a water treatment business
The business you contacted – by filling in a form, calling, texting, or giving your details at a home show or to a builder – uses Cevora to run its office. Texts come from that business’s own number and are about your enquiry, your appointment, your quote, your installation, your account, or the service your system is due for. The business is the sender; Cevora is the software it uses.
Message frequency varies with what is happening: a few messages around an enquiry or an install, then occasional reminders about service, filters or salt – typically a handful a year.
Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier.
To stop: reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and then no further automated texts from that business, to that number, ever. Replying STOP does not cancel a contract or an appointment; the business will reach you by phone or email instead.
For help: reply HELP, or call the business at the number the text came from.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
What Cevora does on every text
Before any text leaves the system, one check runs: has this person told us to stop? A STOP reply blocks every future automated text to that person and to that phone number, as a lead or as a customer, permanently; a new form submission or a fresh consent does not clear it. A do-not-disturb flag set by the business blocks automated texts and tells the staff not to text by hand. Automated customer texts are sent only between 9 AM and 8 PM on the business’s local clock. Consent – when and how a person asked to be contacted – is recorded with their record and kept.
For dealers using Cevora
You are the sender. Text people who contacted your business or have a relationship with it, say who you are in the first message, honour STOP (Cevora does this for you, but do not text by hand around it), and follow the TCPA, CTIA guidelines and your carrier’s rules. Register your business number for 10DLC through OpenPhone before sending at volume. Cevora keeps the consent record and the message log; you keep the responsibility.
